Dazzle Contemporary Jewellery Exhibitions is dedicated to showing the best of contemporary designer jewellery. We organise three exhibitions a year in Edinburgh, London and Manchester, showing work in a wide range of materials from gold and silver to paper and plastics. We are committed to showing young makers at the point of graduation alongside internationally renowned designers.
Our latest project is lovedazzle- selling contemporary designers online
We are pleased to be returning to gallery@oxo, Oxo Tower Wharf, for our London exhibition this winter. After over thirty years at the National Theatre, our enforced move last year, proved to be a great success. This year we hope to build on this success, once again showing our mix of established designers and cutting edge recent graduates. The iconic Oxo Tower Wharf is a great place to visit, not just us, but also a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, galleries and individual retailers.
Dates 9 November to 11 January 2015. Opening parties on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 November. Times to be announced.
The gallery@oxo is owned and managed by social enterprise Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB).

For the first time since 1981 there will be no Manchester Dazzle Exhibition. Despite strenuous efforts we have been unable to find a suitable venue. The decision has been made that we will concentrate this year on London Dazzle@Oxo.We will be showing a record number of jewellers plus Nuno textiles from Japan, whose scarves were so successful in Manchester last year and two handmade leather bag makers, Wolfram Lohr and Steven Harkin.
It is very sad that after over thirty years in Manchester there will be no Dazzle. We have been lucky enough to have had three major venues- The Royal Exchange, Manchester Town Hall and last year Manchester City Art Gallery. In that time we have sold many millions of pounds worth of work by the best contemporary jewellers in Britain and Europe. We have, with your help, encouraged the careers of many young designers, who have gone on to be highly regarded and collectable in the design world. We thank all our loyal followers, some who have been with us from the beginning, for their support.
We are looking to lovedazzle.com, our selling website to fill some of the gap and there will be a special offer for our Manchester mailing list. If you are not already registered visit www.lovedazzle.com.
New at lovedazzle
lovedazzle has introduced some new features to the site for 2014 to make your buying experience even better .You can now zoom and magnify the jewellery, giving incredible close up details of the pieces. This is only one of the changes, aimed at making the site faster and more dynamic. We will, of course, keep introducing new makers, so keep your eye on the regular emails.
For inspiration remember to check the What's New section on the site. We have had a real influx of new pieces to the site recently. Edinburgh based designer Joanne Thompson has added a new range of statement necklace in silver and oxidised silver. Using her starting point of the circle and the inspiration of ancient chainmail, her designs are dramatic and stylish yet infinitely wearable for both everyday and special occassions.
We are delighted to introduce Mariko Sumioka to lovedazzle this month. Mariko is a Japanese maker now based in London. She is inspired by japanese architectural characteristics: natural materials and colours, dark and bright contrasts, linear forms, geometric shapes and spaces. Her mixture of silver, copper, enamel and kimono silk creates stylish and very individual pieces.
